SolveDaily exists for one reason: to make your daily puzzle habit more enjoyable. This policy explains the standards every page on this site must meet before it goes live.
Verification first
Every daily answer is checked against the game's official source before publication. If an answer cannot be verified, it is not published. The page update is held until the answer can be confirmed. We never publish guesses, rumors, or "likely" answers, and we would rather update late than update wrong. The step-by-step process is documented in our Fact-Checking Policy. When information is uncertain or cannot be confirmed, we say so plainly instead of presenting it as fact.
Human review before publication
Before anything goes live, our content reviewer Murtaza Ali checks every hint and answer to confirm it is correct. A page is only published once he has confirmed it. This human check is the final gate, and nothing skips it.
Original hints, written fresh daily
All hints are written in original wording for SolveDaily. We do not copy hints, explanations, or answer reveals from other publishers, and we do not lightly rewrite someone else's content and call it our own. Each day's hints are written fresh for that day's puzzle, with difficulty notes and strategy observations added where they genuinely help.
Spoiler safety
Hints always appear before answers, ordered from gentle to strong, and every answer sits behind an explicit click-to-reveal control with a spoiler warning. We never place answers in headlines, hero sections, page previews, social cards, or URLs. If you only want hints, you should be able to use the whole site without ever seeing an answer by accident.
Corrections
Mistakes are rare, but when one happens we fix it on the page as quickly as we can and note the correction so readers know what changed. Anyone can report a suspected error to [email protected]. Include the game and the date, and we will re-check it against the official source.
What we cover, and what we don't
We cover seven daily games: Wordle, NYT Connections, Strands, Spelling Bee, Pips, Quordle, and Octordle. We write about the puzzles themselves: hints, answers, difficulty, and strategy. We do not publish rumors about future puzzles, we do not claim insider access, and we do not present speculation as fact.
Independence
SolveDaily is an independent publication. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to The New York Times or any game publisher, and we receive no compensation from them. All game names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Commercial transparency
SolveDaily currently has no advertisers, sponsors, or affiliate relationships, and no commercial partner can influence what we publish. Advertising and editorial coverage are kept completely separate. If we ever introduce advertising or a commercial relationship that could affect how a page is read, we will disclose it clearly on the affected pages and update this policy.
Our commitment to readers
We will keep improving SolveDaily by being accurate when we can, transparent when we are not sure, and quick to correct our mistakes. We will not trade your trust for sensational claims, copied content, or paid influence. Our standard is simple: publish the kind of puzzle help we would want to read ourselves, clear enough to understand and honest enough to trust.
